Weddings are hard! Even if you are NOT the bride-to-be. Receiving a wedding invitation may stir up A LOT of mixed feelings in a girl’s heart especially when you are single. Things like “Will I ever get my happily ever after?”; “Where can I find the Perfect Date to take to that wedding”; “Will it be weird if I show up without a date?” to questions like “What to wear to a summer outdoor wedding?” and “How can I look like a million bucks at a wedding WITHOUT spending a million bucks” can pop up in your mind in a nanosecond.
Been there, done that! You are not crazy for having all these voices in your mind. It is a-natural to freak out when you must bring on your “A game” for a wedding without giving away that you tried a little too hard.
1- Vintage Prints are the Way to Go

Retro vintage prints like polka dots make stunning wedding dresses; especially if it is an outdoor daytime ceremony. You don’t necessarily have to turn to sequin, metallic tops, and heavy embellishment to make a day outfit fit for the wedding.
The tailoring and style of your dress can play an important role in oomph-ing up a printed dress. Choker neck combined with a plunging V makes a stunning and sassy dress. Or you can go with a topless dress with a pleated bodice.
Finish off with some open toes strappy sandals in contrasting colors. To take it a step up, we recommend some dangling earrings, or you can opt for oversized hoops –very retro chic!
2- Square Necklines with High-thigh Slits
If you are well-endowed from waist up, we recommend a square neckline with straps for support. Also, square necklines are perfect to flaunt chunky statement necklaces. High-thigh slits really take a casual dress to a whole next level. This style would really work well for evening wedding receptions.
To wear prints or solid colors is totally up to you. Horizontal stripes, geometrical prints and even bold floral would look good in a dress like this. Or you can take a whole different route and select an all-white or all-black dress to keep things elegant and formal.
Finish off with gold ankle strap heels for a contrasting glamorous touch. The fur on shoes was spotted in summer fashion week on the runway, so you may want to give that style a go.
